CUREMOS A VENEZUELA
With the Curemos a Venezuela project, devised by María de Lourdes Viso, we are in charge of providing essential medicines in some strategic centers in Caracas. (that, in turn, distribute or redirect them to the population affected by the humanitarian crisis).
How do we do it?
The CUREMOS A VENEZUELA PROJECT works in two ways:
- A) Receiving medicines of those contemplated, in a list that we have carefully prepared according to the indications of the Venezuelan doctors who collaborate with the project
- B) Receiving donations through crowfunding. We appreciate your contribution to this urgent cause. Also, please pass it to your contacts. In advance, thank you very much for your support !!!! If you want to contribute write an email to email@example.com
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO PREVENT THE DEATH OR SUFFERING OF MANY PEOPLE! YOUR SUPPORT IS APPRECIATED. IT ALL ADDS UP!

Ven da tu mano
Collaborate with medicine delivery and distribution of winter clothes.
At Catnova, in alliance with Ven da Tu Mano, we have collaborated as a collection center for winter clothing and medicines. We have also jointly organized two distributions of winter clothing (in 2017 and 2018) for newly arrived Venezuelans to Barcelona that are at risk of social exclusion.
A group of Venezuelan doctors and volunteers residing in Spain took the initiative to create the Ven da tu Manofoundation to collect medicine, supplies and even food from various parts of the world and send them to their allies in Venezuela, as well as advance other programs to help their colleagues who still live in the Caribbean country. The president of the foundation, María Cecilia Sánchez, a medical surgeon specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology and graduate of the Concepción Palacios Maternity in Caracas, explains that they have managed to send medicine and hospital medical supplies monthly, through their alliance with Cruz Verde, to different healthcare centers in the Venezuelan territory.
Catnova is a medicine collection center for the humanitarian project of Ven da tu mano. If you are interested in collaborating, you just have to send medicines to our headquarters at c / Muntaner 48, 2º, 2ª. We will then send them to this efficient foundation.

As part of the “Building Today” project of participation and volunteering that started in 2006, we have provided support to other associations that are focused on the most vulnerable in society — in this case the group at risk of social exclusion in the Eixample Esquerra since the year 2013 to 2015.
Food collection with Confianza Solidaria and CatNova
During the critical years of the economic crisis, we collaborated with the Confianza Solidaria entity in collecting food for people at risk of social exclusion in the Ensanche Esquerra
CatNova collaborated with the dissemination, with the organization, and the call of students and volunteers to participate in the actions organized by Confianza Solidaria. Every month in the neighborhood where our headquarters are located, Catnova volunteers collected food from the supermarkets and distributed it into baskets. Twice a month, the neediest families in the area collected their baskets from Confianza Solidaria where they were distributed.
We achieved a good call for volunteers which created the basis for future collaborations in other actions of a social and solidarity nature.
On Saturday, June 7, a collaboration between the three entities took place. People from Barcelona SAE (17 student volunteers from the United States and 6 project coordinators), 2 people from Catnova (1 Volunteer to make video documentation + 1 project coordinator) and the entire team of Confianza Solidaria participated.
The goal of this collaboration was to do an integrative activity for the American students. Thus, the aim was to broaden their integration in the social context of Barcelona, and at the same time create a positive meeting for all the entities involved.
